From Cuchara's door on Lepelstraat, every option inside the dashed ring will return you to your bed on foot in November cold — boots optional. Outside the ring, the only honest advice is Taxi Flament. [1]
If you park at the hotel, you are already parked at Cuchara — its overflow lot is yours. Walls are thin; ask for a higher floor. The breakfast (fresh OJ, generous buffet) is the unanimous compliment in the reviews. Book the City location, not the Ring. [1][4][16]

TripAdvisor pegs Cuchara at four minutes; the walkability score is "somewhat walkable" — a polite euphemism for "perfectly fine." Breakfast costs extra; the cafés on the square are kinder anyway. Cuchara recommends this house; the four rooms are beloved (4.9★, Travellers' Choice). But the B&B's own "only a few minutes from the centre" is true by bike and a polite fiction at midnight on foot. A 1904 engineer's villa in the historic Lommel-Werkplaatsen workers' settlement — three rooms, a garden, hosts who have been at it since 2014. Universally praised; universally not walkable. Choose it if the rest of the weekend involves Bosland or Lommel Sahara and you have a car; not when the dinner is the anchor. [13][14]
