At ~12 km from Cuchara, taxi rises into the €30-each-way bracket — at which point the three core Lommel B&Bs are cheaper, closer and at least as characterful. La Butte aux Bois (Lanaken) is well outside taxi range and not realistic for a Cuchara-anchored stay.
