Paris, twenty twenty-six
a year in tech.

Fourteen conferences plotted across twelve months. One anchor weekend (May 28–31) marked in red. The decision is which week to fly in for — everything else follows from that.

2026
If scale matters
Anchor on VivaTech, Jun 17–20
Europe's biggest tech & startup show at Porte de Versailles — 10th anniversary edition. The floor and the after-hours are the reason to go; talks are background [1][2][25].
If depth matters
Pick Devoxx France, Apr 22–24
240 talks, ~4,600 devs, Palais des Congrès. The seriously-technical alternative — Java leans heaviest but every stack shows up [3][4].
If May 28–31 is fixed
There's a conference gap.
No headline event lands on the anchor weekend. Bridge with AI Tinkerers evenings or Station F's rolling programme — or shift +3 weeks to VivaTech [21][26].

June 17–20, 2026

VivaTech

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles · M12
10th anniversary edition. Founders, corporates, investors, public sector — all on one floor. Closer to a trade-show-meets-keynote-festival than a developer conference. Best paired with a Michelin dinner because the show ends early enough most evenings [1][2][25].

Devoxx France

Palais des Congrès, Porte Maillot · M1 / RER C
14th edition · 240 talks · ~4,600 attendees · French and English. The seriously-technical alternative to VivaTech — Java leans heaviest but every stack shows up. Hotels near Porte Maillot fill fast [3][4].

No headline event

No conference falls on the anchor weekend — but two community grades fill the room.

The fillers are community-grade, not destination-grade. Useful for an evening; not a reason to book the trip.

Rolling event calendar across the campus's Open Platform, Google Office, Junior Stage and Central Room. Evenings on May 27-28 and Jun 1-2 visible on the public schedule [26].
Ran Conversational DevOps & AI Infrastructure on May 21. Next sessions land roughly monthly, demo-only, free, technical screening [21].
If the weekend is flexible: shift +3 weeks to VivaTech (Jun 17–20). Same Porte de Versailles 15e arrondissement; same early-evening close; same Michelin-dinner pairing math [1].
