The single event that puts the region on the international tech map. Held 24 March 2026, 13:30, at Vaduzer-Saal in Vaduz [1]. Ninth edition, organised by digital-liechtenstein.li with the Liechtenstein government. 450+ decision-makers from business, science and policy [2]. 2026 theme: “Global Technology Meets European Sovereignty”.

KI-Meetup Graubünden — applied-AI quarterly, free, alternating between ibW Chur and FHGR’s Service Innovation Lab. Format: keynote + interactive discussion + networking. Organised by Markenkern AG with GRdigital and Code Crush GmbH [5]. Nr. 7 ran 20 May 2026; Nr. 8 not yet announced but the cadence suggests August/September [4].
UX Meetup Chur — 166 members, irregular cadence (roughly bi-monthly), interdisciplinary UX/usability/human-centred design. Past venues: FHGR Standort B, Werkstatt LABOR, KostBar Sennhof [11]. No 2026 dates currently listed; watch the page.
Technopark Liechtenstein — Schaanerstrasse 27, Vaduz. Year-round programme of startup lectures, workshops, pitches, discussion rounds; topics span pitching, growth hacking, agile dev, exit strategy [10]. Also the host venue for the annual Cyber Security Workshop [3] and a regular Cybersecurity Roundtable series [12].
RhySearch / Hightech Campus Buchs — industrial/applied-tech rather than software. The 2026 triple of OCLA (March), Technologietag (June), PreXcon (November) covers optical coatings, laser tech, precision manufacturing [7][8]. Co-located with OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule and the University of Liechtenstein.
What this region doesn’t have
- No regular software developer conference in the radius — for that, the closest is START Hack in St. Gallen (~70 km, outside radius) or anything in Zürich (~110 km).
- No cybersecurity conference at scale — the cyber workshop and roundtable [3][12] are practitioner-level, not full conferences. Swiss Cyber Security Days are in Bern (out of radius).
- The new AREON Eventhalle in Chur opens September 2026 (capacity 6,500) — Wirtschaftsforum Südostschweiz on 9 October [14] is one of its first headline events, so the tech-conference inventory here may grow from 2027 onward.
