Chef Huang Jinghui (Chef Fei) started cooking at 16, became executive chef at 20, and brings 30+ years of experience.[9] The Mandarin Oriental interior blends East and West, recently refurbished.[6] Timeless Cantonese classics sit alongside creative seasonal dishes — described by the hotel as "arguably the city's finest Cantonese restaurant."[6] Also holds a 2026 Asia 100 Fine Dining Diamond award.[11]

Chef Stefan Stiller (German) founded Taian Table Shanghai in 2016 before opening this sister location.[8] 22 seats around an open kitchen counter; the menu rotates every ~8 weeks across 5 menus per year (4 seasonal + 1 Best Of).[10][8] Wine pairing costs ¥825–¥1,285 extra.[10] 48-hour cancellation window for a full deposit refund.[7]

About the 2025 Michelin Guide

The 2025 Michelin Guide Guangzhou (8th edition, released 5 July 2025) lists 112 recommended restaurants total: 3 two-star, 18 one-star, 45 Bib Gourmand, 46 Michelin-Selected.[2][3] All 21 previously starred establishments retained their ratings; the sole new entry was Chōwa (1 star).[4] No Guangzhou restaurant has ever been awarded three stars.[1]

The 2026 Michelin Guide Guangzhou has not yet been released as of June 2026 — the annual ceremony is typically held in July. The 2025 guide data above is the most current available.
