WAIC 2026 — World Artificial Intelligence Conference
China's flagship annual AI event, 8th consecutive year. AGNTCon + MCPCon China 2026
Linux Foundation's agentic AI event co-located with KubeCon (→ 4-day developer block). MCP co-founders and contributors present alongside enterprise teams deploying agent systems. KubeCon + CloudNativeCon + OpenInfra + PyTorch China

Organized by the WAIC committee, Shanghai Commission of Economy and Informatization, and Xuhui district.[3] Three-day program: opening ceremony, 3 competitions (Super Entrepreneur Innovation, OpenClaw Hackathon), 50+ workshops, 100+ interactive demos, Developer's Night networking.[4] AI focus: coding, generated media, AI terminals, life sciences, fintech.
Tech Week Shanghai 2026
Inaugural B2B edition, Asia-Pacific's first international data industry platform.[5] Exhibitors: Huawei, Baidu, China Telecom/Mobile/Unicom, Siemens, Honeywell, BDx, TM Global.[6] Forums on cross-border data flows, AI legal risk, and enterprise digital transformation. Full-scale 2027 flagship edition planned.
