Decision: For a Michelin highlight in Dénia itself, Quique Dacosta (3★) is the only option above 1 star — and it is world-class.[2] No 2-star restaurants exist in Dénia; the nearest is BonAmb (2★) in Jávea, 16 km away.[12] Both are tasting-menu-only. Book Quique Dacosta as far in advance as possible — it sells out weeks ahead.[4]

Booking tips

Quique Dacosta
  • Book via quiquedacosta.es or call +34 965 784 179 (11 AM–2 PM). Reservations open seasonally and fill within days.[4]
  • A €150/person deposit is charged at booking; cancel or modify at least 5 days out via email to avoid forfeiture.[4]
  • Reservations are transferable — only the booking code is needed, so gifting is straightforward.[4]
  • Arrive within the window (lunch 1:30–2:00 PM / dinner 8:30–9:00 PM); late arrival disrupts the choreographed kitchen.[5]
  • Extra openings in summer 2026: June 24, July 9, August 15 (both services).[5]

BonAmb
  • Book via bonamb.com or call +34 965 084 440; confirm via email link to finalise.[10]
  • Cancellation is free up to 12 hours before; later = €50/person charged.[10]
  • Dinner only available Thu–Sat — plan your Dénia weekend around that window.[10]
  • Declare dietary needs at booking; vegetarian and vegan menus require advance notice.[9]

Note: Dénia has no 2-star Michelin restaurant within the municipality itself — only Quique Dacosta (3★) and Peix & Brases (1★).[1] BonAmb is included as the natural 2-star complement for a Dénia-based weekend, given the short drive.[12]
