TL;DR Phuket itself has no standing annual IT conference — the local scene is a free weekly tech social at Mollys Tavern (Patong) and the boutique Phuket Summit (AI marketing, next edition April 2027). Every major tech conference in Thailand is in Bangkok [11], a 1–1.5-hr flight away; the next Bangkok dates worth noting are IAIT2026 (Jun 17–19), Techsauce (Aug 26–28), and DigiTech ASEAN (Nov 25–27).

Academic micro-conferences in Phuket

Conference alert aggregators list dozens of one-day “International Conference on…” events in Phuket throughout the year. These are overwhelmingly organised by mass-submission venues (ResearchFora, SCIENCENET, ISIT) that exhibit classic predatory-conference red flags: guaranteed acceptance, generic titles, mass-email solicitation. [13] Not worth attending for networking or industry insight.
