IT conferences and tech events within 30 km of Maison Lameloise

Three IT/tech events fall inside the 30 km circle in 2026 — Forum InCyber Le Creusot, CGLOBAL'IT Chalon, CAP 26 — all weekday-only; no Saturday-friendly meetup in the radius.

Decision. The radius is mostly Burgundy vineyard and small cities, so the IT calendar is sparse. Anchor a tech detour on Forum InCyber des Territoires in Le Creusot, Thu–Fri 11–12 June 2026 [6] — the one regional event of national weight. Everything else in-radius is a half-day local salon (CGLOBAL’IT and CAP 26 in Chalon-sur-Saône) [8][9]. All weekday-only — to pair tech with the Saturday dinner you must extend the weekend into Thu–Sat. If your dates miss the cluster, the radius offers permanent innovation venues but no Saturday meetup scene.

Geometry

Maison Lameloise sits on Place d’Armes in Chagny, Saône-et-Loire [1]. The 30 km circle from Chagny captures the three cities that matter for tech: Beaune (~15 km / 20 min) [2], Chalon-sur-Saône (17 km) [3] and — at the edge — Le Creusot (28 km straight, 35 km by road, ~44 min) [4]. Dijon (~45 km) and Cluny (~50 km) sit outside the line.

In-radius events, 2026

Event When Where Distance from Chagny Theme Sources
Forum InCyber des Territoires Thu–Fri 11–12 Jun Hub & Go technopole, Le Creusot ~28 km (35 km drive) Industrial cybersecurity, digital sovereignty, smart territories [5] [6] [7]
Salon CGLOBAL’IT (biennial) ⚠ past Thu 26 Mar, 8:30–15:00 Le Colisée, Chalon-sur-Saône 17 km IT/telecom/cybersecurity B2B, 15 booths, 2 cyber conferences [8]
CAP 26 (CPME 71 SME salon) Thu 4 Jun, from 09:00 Parc des Expositions, Chalon-sur-Saône 17 km SME digital + cybersecurity track (free) [9]
Tech Boost’her Tour ⚠ past Thu 5 Mar IUT Chalon-sur-Saône 17 km Women in digital careers (one-day workshop) [10] [11]
L’Usinerie Journée de l’Innovation (annual, May/Jun — 2026 edition TBA) May/Jun (TBA) L’Usinerie, Chalon-sur-Saône 17 km Industry 4.0 innovation meetup [12] [13]

The standout. Forum InCyber des Territoires is the local arm of the major French cybersecurity forum, organised with the urban community of Creusot-Montceau in the new Hub & Go technopole — 4,000 m² with FabLab, 3D additive-manufacturing platform, ISEREM engineering school and the ImVia imaging/vision research lab [14]. The 2025 first edition pulled Framatome, Safran Aircraft Engines, ArcelorMittal, Alstom, Baker Hughes and 8 higher-ed institutions of Campus Sud Bourgogne — a serious industrial-cyber audience, not a vendor expo [7].

The local salon. CGLOBAL’IT is biennial — March 2026 has passed and the next edition is expected in 2028 [8]. It is a half-day vendor floor (Lenovo, Microsoft, Fortinet, Synology, SentinelOne, Hikvision, Eaton, 3CX, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise) with two cyber conference slots — useful if your trip dates match, less so as a destination event.

The SME track. CAP 26 is the CPME 71 chamber salon for Saône-et-Loire SMEs; not a tech conference per se, but C2iP and other regional IT/security partners exhibit, with an explicit pitch on “structuring and securing the digital environment” [9]. Free, walk-in.

Permanent innovation venues (good for off-event visits)

If no event aligns, the area’s tech identity lives in three campus/lab venues you can tour or contact:

  • L’Usinerie (Chalon-sur-Saône, 17 km) — the BFC-region Industry 4.0 reference platform, in a restored 19th-century steam mill; partners include Arts et Métiers, Cnam Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and UIMM 71 [12].
  • Nicéphore Cité (Chalon, 17 km) — digital pole for image, sound, virtual reality; runs Innovation Meetups, Entrepreneurship Masterclasses and Connected Agriculture cycles [15].
  • Hub & Go (Le Creusot, ~28 km) — venue of the InCyber forum; the only metal-additive-manufacturing platform in the radius [14].
  • Institut Arts et Métiers Chalon-sur-Saône (17 km) — hosts the Institut Image research lab on multisensory immersion / AR-VR [20].

Just outside the 30 km line (worth extending the trip)

What this means for a Saturday-dinner trip

  • No Saturday-only event falls in the radius in 2026. Tech salons here run Thursday–Friday; that’s the BFC pattern.
  • Best pairing window: 11–13 June 2026 — Forum InCyber Thu–Fri at Le Creusot (35 km / 44 min from Chagny by car), then Saturday dinner at Maison Lameloise on the 13th. The InCyber 2025 edition was Thu–Fri 22–23 May — the 2026 weekday-then-weekend pattern is consistent [7].
  • Alternative pairings. Thu 4 Jun (CAP 26 at Chalon) → Sat 6 Jun dinner is a lighter day-trip option. The 12 → 13 Dec axis pairs DevFest Dijon (Friday) with a Saturday dinner if you accept the 45 km drive each way.
  • Meetup floor: thin. Recurring developer meetups on meetup.com show no active tech group in Chalon-sur-Saône, Beaune or Chagny — the dev community concentrates in Dijon (Developers Group Dijon runs DevFest) [16]. Pre-arrange a visit to L’Usinerie or Nicéphore Cité if you want a tech touchpoint outside a formal event.
  • Skip: Bourgogne BTP Expo at the Palais des Congrès de Beaune on 25–26 June 2026 — listed in some “industry” round-ups, but it is construction/transport, not IT [21].
