C# / .NET conferences in Europe 2026 — a senior dev's shortlist

TL;DR — From a Belgium base, the strongest May→Dec 2026 line-up is Techorama Belgium (11-13 May, Antwerp, €899 conference) [12] for the home-turf flagship, NDC Copenhagen (1-4 June) [5] or NDC Oslo (14-18 September) [4] when you want the full NDC speaker roster, and Update Conference Prague (12-13 November) [14] for the densest .NET-only programme in CEE. Build Stuff Vilnius (2-4 December) [16] and .NET DeveloperDays Warsaw (19-23 October) [15] round out CEE; CloudBrew Mechelen (10-11 December) [20] is the cheap Azure-community pick close to home. Devoxx Belgium [22] and DDD Europe [21] are adjacent (Java- and language-agnostic respectively) but draw .NET architects in significant numbers.

NDC family — Oslo, Copenhagen, AI, TechTown, (Porto TBA)

NDC Conferences is the centre of gravity for European .NET content. The 2026 calendar runs Sydney → Toronto → Copenhagen → AI → Oslo → TechTown → London 2027 [1]. For senior devs, NDC Oslo is still the headline: 5 days, 150 speakers being booked, names like Troy Hunt, Kevlin Henney, Venkat Subramaniam, Nick Chapsas [4]. All-Access Early Bird is 22,490 NOK (~€1,940) ending 22 May; Regular is 25,990 NOK (~€2,240) [3] — both before 25% Norwegian VAT.

NDC Copenhagen is the cheaper, shorter alternative with similar speaker DNA: 4 days at Øksnehallen [5], All-Access at 15,900 DKK (~€2,130) +VAT or conference-only at 9,900 DKK (~€1,330) [2].

NDC AI (8-10 June, Oslo) [7] and NDC TechTown (21-24 September, embedded / systems) [9] are narrower spin-offs; pick AI if you’ve already done a generalist NDC and want depth, TechTown if you write firmware/IoT C#.

NDC Porto 2026 has not announced dates as of May 2026 — historical pattern is mid-to-late October [6]. Watch the site if Portugal is your preferred destination.

NDC London for 2026 already happened (late January) [10]; next QEII Centre slot is 25-29 January 2027.

Techorama Belgium — the home pick

If you’re based in Belgium, this is the no-brainer event. Antwerp (Kinepolis cinema venue), 11-13 May 2026, ~150 sessions across .NET / Azure / AI / DevOps / web / data [11]. Tickets are tiered: €699 Workshop-only (May 11), €899 Knight (conference 12-13, includes all session recordings + merchandise voucher), €1,399 Combi (everything) [12]. Late-bird price increase kicked in 6 April. The same crew runs Techorama Netherlands in Utrecht 26-28 October [13] — useful as a fallback if the BE tickets sold out.

The 2026 theme is “Medieval Edition”, which is just a vibe, not a content pivot.

Update Conference Prague — best session-density-per-euro

Two days at the Clarion Congress Hotel, 12-13 November 2026 [14]. Four parallel tracks, 40+ technical sessions, ~65 speakers covering .NET / Cloud / Security / AI / Blazor [14]. Reputation in CEE is that this is where senior .NET devs from Czechia / Slovakia / Hungary go when they don’t fly to Oslo. Live-stream tickets exist if you can’t travel.

The adjacent set — not C#-first, but worth your travel budget

• DDD Europe [21] — language-agnostic by design, but the audience is heavily .NET architects; held in Antwerp 8-12 June, overlapping geographically with Techorama. Two tracks: Foundations (DDD canon) and EventCentric (event-driven).
• Devoxx Belgium [22] — Java-anchored but a magnet for cross-stack senior devs; €695 conference ticket is genuinely cheap for the size.
• Voxxed Days Luxembourg [23] — Devoxx-family, Java-led, no dedicated .NET track [23] — skip unless you specifically want to broaden.
• Voxxed Days Amsterdam [24] — Already past (1-2 April 2026).

.NET Conf is Microsoft’s free virtual annual event in November — the 2025 edition ran 11-13 November, 15th iteration, 100k+ live viewers, .NET 10 + Visual Studio 2026 launch [25]. 2026’s date hasn’t been announced but the second week of November is the multi-year cadence. Watch parties pop up locally; check local user groups for organised viewings.
